The Festival of Township is the newest addition to Kirkcaldy's event calendar and will run for the week before the Bavarian Beer & Music Festival in the marquee in the Town Square.
From Wednesday 24th August - Tuesday 30th August, there will be a series of events which highlight the work of our Town's community groups, as well as local music and creative talent.
This is a celebration of both the heritage and future Kirkcaldy has to offer.
There’s lots to interest and entertain everyone in the family. Day-time events are free unless otherwise stated. Donations are welcomed for evening events, unless otherwise stated,
Wednesday 24th August - ‘Green Day’
A myriad of activities including bike-fixing, a clothes swap and recycling with representatives from Growing Kirkcaldy, Fife Zero Waste and The Ecology Centre among others. Click here for more information.

Friday 26th August - 'The Invisible Hand'
There will be two readings (at 10:30am and 2pm) of ‘The Invisible Hand’ by John Yule – a play about Adam Smith.
Concert featuring East Fife Ladies Choir, Kirkcaldy Choral Union, Kirkcaldy Gilbert and Sullivan Society, Kirkcaldy Amateur Operatic Society, Fife Opera, The Tenors and Dysart Colliery Silver Band,
Saturday 27th August
The monthly Farmers’ Market will feature the addition of a Fruit Market.
