Thank you for coming to our Food & Drink Fair 2018

A huge thank you to all who supported Kirkcaldy 4 All’s fourth Food & Drink Fair – part of the town’s Festival of Ideas – staged this month (March 2018). Begun as a small idea in 2015, this year’s event has grown on previous years’ successes to deliver the biggest and best Fair yet – with more than 30 stall holders welcoming over 3,000 customers to the one day event at Fife College’s Atrium on St Brycedale Avenue.

A series of cookery demonstrations were topped by the event’s headlining chef, BBC 2016 MasterChef The Professionals Champion, Gary Maclean.

The venue was busy throughout – from the minute the doors opened at 11am until close of play at 3pm. The sights, sounds and smells of fantastic food & drink kept the crowds entertained.

The seats in front of the stage were filled to capacity for much of the day with visitors soaking up the hints and tips from the visiting chefs.

The stall holders did us proud – many providing tasters to tempt those who’d come to spend.

The free Kids’ Workshops ‘sold out’ with every place taken ahead of the day itself. In our plans for 2019, we’ll be mindful of that fact!
