Calling all foodies! On 18th March 2017, Kirkcaldy's popular Food & Drink Fair returns. Brought to the town by Kirkcaldy 4 All in partnership with Fife College, the fun will start at 11am with a full programme of cooking demonstrations from some of Fife's well-known chefs.

 

There will also be a number of stalls from Fife's food and drink producers, offering free tastings and local products to buy. And there will be kids' workshops offering food education activities.

 

The event is FREE to attend. Come along and join the fun!

Cookery Demonstrations on the Main Stage

  • 11am: A welcome from Dave Edwards, one of the chefs at Fife College … and a cooking demonstration using local, seasonal produce.
  • Noon: Cookery demo by Tom Pratt, owner of the Waterfront Restaurant in Kirkcaldy
  • 1pm: Jamie Scott, BBC MasterChef The Professionals Winner 2014 from The Newport takes to the stage to showcase his talents with a demo.
  • 2pm: demo by Fife’s own TV chef, Eadie Manson
  • 3pm: Q&A with Bryan McCabe from Fife College

Kids’ Workshops

Please note, the Workshops are limited to 12 children per class.
Entry is on a ‘first come, first served’ basis, so please be on time to avoid disappointment.

11.30 & 13.30: Healthy Pizzas + 12.30 & 14.30: Cupcake Decorating

Indoor Market

There are some fab companies taking part in the indoor market with stalls selling produce and sampling with tasters to tempt you. The exhibitors include meats and ales, whisky & wine, jams and chocolates, coffees … and baking aplenty!
